The Secura Fence System is a physical perimeter
security fence system that provides an impressive barrier around your
facility. The majority of existing perimeter fences are chain link
topped with barbed wire or razor ribbon and only provide basic security.
The Secura System utilizes a new fabric made from a solid sheet of high
tensile/low allow steel simultaneously slit and stretched into a rigid
open mesh design that will now unweave or come apart. This fence
is designed to be extremely difficult to cut or climb while still
allowing good visibility and free passage of light and air. It
takes from 52 to 72 or more tedious, individual cuts to make a small
hole in the Secura Fence System. This system can be installed
as new or retrofit to an existing perimeter fence. For the
facility that needs added protection in perimeter fencing, the Secura
Fence System is a solution that you should consider.

Tensile Strength-The tensile strength of Secura
Mesh and regular expanded metal is governed by the carbon content of the
steel from which it is formed. Basically the lower the carbon
contents of the steel the lower the tensile strength of the product.
Regular expanded metal typically uses 1006 steel containing a maximum
carbon content of .08%. The carbon range is .065% to .08%
resulting in typical tensile strength of 40,000/46,000 PSI and a typical
yield point of 38,000 PSI.
Secura Mesh is made from steel containing maximum
carbon content of .15% resulting in typical tensile strength of
56,000/62,000 PSI and typical yield point of 48,000 PSI. High
carbon content increases tensile and yield strength about 50% over low
carbon. It also improves toughness and fatigue resistance.
The .15% carbon content is the maximum carbon used in Secura Mesh
because of formability restrictions.
Fabric-Fabric for the Secura Fence System is
manufactured in conformance with the following industry standard
specification:
Carbon Steel (ASTM

Instabarrier® as manufactured by American
Security Fence Corp., Phoenix, Arizona.
Secura Fence System Retrofit-A perimeter
security system expressly deigned to add protection, strength and
durability to an existing chain link fence. Retrofitting an
existing fence with Secrua Mesh® severely limits the cutting of
unwanted hole and passageways, stops intrusion by climb overs and
eliminates costly and untimely fence repairs.
Secura Fence System Maximum-Designed for use where maximum
protection, strength, and durability is required. This
installation is highly recommended a pa perimeter barrier for penal
institutions, hazardous waste storage sites and nuclear facilities.
Ideal for inside use in ultra high security areas for storage of drugs,
tools and high cost inventory items.
Secura Fence System Medium-Designed for use both inside and
outside where above average security and limited access is desired.
Best for industrial and commercial applications such as, bonded storage
facilities, parking lots, truck terminals, schools and auto dealerships.
